FIRST INDIAN WOMEN TO WIN SILVER MEDALS IN OLYMPICS

India’s beloved Pusarla Venkata Sindhu won the SILVER MEDAL by being defeated by the World No 1 player Carolina Marin of Spain who in the past two years has had tremendous success.

Shuttler PV Sindhu fulfilling hopes of Indians and  breaking India’s long-awaited medal quest in the Rio Olympics by storming into the finals of the women’s singles.

She has come a long way — from a 16-year-old watching Saina Nehwal win the 2012 London Olympics bronze to being India’s sole badminton gold medal the 2016 Games.

With the memorable win, Sindhu became the first Indian woman badminton player to achieve the Silver at the Olympics 2016.  She made India PROUD !
